Nicole by OPI Others Pale by Kim-parison stamped

I have some simple stamping for you guys today. I did these a long time ago when my nails were SUPER short.

I started with two coats of Nicole by OPI Others Pale by Kim-parison.

Once that dried I stamped with Orly Glitz, which is my favorite gold stamping polish! I used Bundle Monster plate BM-201.

Dots, Dots, Dots!

Today's nails I did a while back, you'll notice in the pics that my nails are my old square shape. For some reason I never posted them! So, here they are today :)

I started with two coats of Cult Nails Manipulative

Then I did some random dots with Milani Orchidia

Next came dots of Nicole by OPI Others Pale by Kim-parison and Milani Beach Front.
The Beach Front dots aren't very noticeable.

Lastly, I added dots of Milani Mint Candy and Orly Dazzle!

I really loved the randomness of these nails and I want to try more designs like this with different color combos!

80's Earrings nail art #1

Happy Tuesday, Everyone! This past weekend I went through and cleaned out my closets and I came across a box of old earrings that my Mom used to wear in the 80's. One of my first thoughts as I was looking through them was, "Oh my god, these would be awesome nail art inspiration!"

So, I picked out all the pairs that spoke to me and now I'll be featuring the nail art inspired by them here on my blog over the next few weeks! Fun right?!

This is the first pair that kind of "spoke" to me. I loved that they were triangle!

I started by using two coats of Others Pale by Kim-parison as my base.

To make the triangles I used my striping tape that I bought off ebay.

Then I painted one coat of Orly Glitz over the tape and removed the tape before the polish dried.

I continued to do that on all of my nails, one by one.

To complete the look of these nails I used my striping brush and painted some irregular ovals in the middle, just like the earrings have.

These were so fun to do and I can't wait to continue to show you guys the other earrings and nail art!! Judging by the ones I picked out from the box, my Mom was quite the fashionista!

Beachy Stripes

Well, today is the last day of my vacation :( When I get home I'll post some pics and tell you guys about it more! For today I have another mani using my striping tape:

The two polishes I used were Nicole by OPI Nothing Kim-pares to Blue and Others Pale by Kim-parison.

For the base I did three coats of each color!

These two polishes are just beautiful. Nothing Kim-pares to Blue is a light, slightly dusty blue, with silver shimmer. Others Pale by Kim-parison is a soft egg-shell white, its not a harsh in your face white.

Then I taped off the stripes that I wanted to show up white...

and painted a thick coat of blue over it and removed the tape!

Here's the little strips after I peeled them off

The final product!! This is my right hand

and here's my left hand!

A pile of shells on the beach that I decided would be pretty to use as a background :)

I am so obsessed with using this striping tape right now. It's so easy to use and I love how crisp it makes my lines!! Can't wait to do even more designs with them.

I'm Back!

Whew, I didn't really mean to be gone that long (well, actually I didn't want to stop posting at all), BUT I got super busy with a lot of things plus school so that left no time to do my nails, let alone take pics of them.

Anyways! I'm back and I'm so glad I am :)

I bought this polish about a week ago and it was kind of an impulse buy, but I'm really glad I bought it.

This is three coats of Nicole by OPI It's All About the Glam. It was released with all of the other Kardashian Kolors.  I probably could have gotten away with two coats of this, but for some reason I felt the need for a third on this one.  My pictures don't really do this color justice, there is a lot of really pretty shimmer that I couldn't really capture. In the sun I could see glints of pink and blue in this polish, but in regular light it mostly just looks like silver shimmer.

As you can see, I had to chop my nails off. My middle nail and thumb nail all broke in the same week so I just decided to start fresh lol!

I also wanted to post a picture of my cat, Ebony, that passed away today. She was going to be 18 this year and she had just been really sick and frail so we made the hard decision to have her put down. We first got her when I was almost 5 years old and so it's really weird to know that she will not be physically here anymore. Even though today was a sad day, I feel so happy and relieved that I know she is resting peacefully now. <3

So, I just wanted to post one of my favorite pics of her because when I took it, it was just an accident that she happened to stick her tongue out :)

Love you Ebby<3

Once I get back into the swing of things I'll have more exciting posts :)
