Cult Nails Devious Nature Stamped

Hey Guys! I've been a little absent lately, sorry about that! I actually just got back from traveling. I had the amazing opportunity to go to L.A. with Maria, from Cult Nails, to assist her in working the Cult Nails booth at The Makeup Show LA. It was so much fun and I loved that I got to meet some bloggers that I've followed for a long time. Some of them include, Jen, from The Polishaholic, and Stephanie, from Aqua Heart. Maybe I'll do a post soon about the trip and include some pictures, if I don't though, I've posted a ton of pictures on my Instagram (@prettylittlebottles).

Here's an old mani that I was going to include in my 14 days of Valentine's Nails, but decided not to.

What I used:
Cult Nails Devious Nature (2 coats)
Cult Nails Charlatan (1 coat)
WnW Black Creme (for the stamping polish)
Bundle Monster BM-209

Nicole by OPI Others Pale by Kim-parison stamped

I have some simple stamping for you guys today. I did these a long time ago when my nails were SUPER short.

I started with two coats of Nicole by OPI Others Pale by Kim-parison.

Once that dried I stamped with Orly Glitz, which is my favorite gold stamping polish! I used Bundle Monster plate BM-201.

Pure Ice Over the Top and Black Velour

For today I have some nail art that I did a while back that features two Pure Ice velour nail polishes that I found at Walmart.
This is the finished look that I did using Pure Ice Over the Top (copper) and Black Velour (black).

I started with two coats of Over the Top. I thought this one was awesome because I've never seen a copper matte/suede polish before.

Here it is with a topcoat so you can see how it looks both ways.

Then I placed striping tape in all directions and painted Black Velour over it and removed the tape.

That's it for today's post...short and to the point :)

Urban Outfitters Silver Holo

My lovely friend, Steph, from the blog Imperfectly Painted, got me this wonderful polish that I'm showing you today! All I can say is that it's amazing.

Urban Outfitters Silver Holo (2 coats)

I took a million pictures of it, but these were my three best!
I had no application issues while applying Silver Holo, which was a nice surprise. A lot of other holos I've tried have dragging issues.

There's not much else to say about this polish, the pictures speak for themselves!

Steph, thanks again for this polish. I love it! :)

Valentine's Day Nails--Day 14 (Happy Valentine's Day!)

Happy Valentine's Day Everybody!!! I hope everyone has had a great day, whether you had a "valentine" or not :)

Today I'm going to show you the last of my OMG NailStrips...and I've got great news!

Remember how I talked about adding base and top coat when using the real nail polish strips by OMG NailStrips?? Well, it works...and really helps keep them on!

These pictures were taken right after I applied them. On the OMG NailStrips website, this design is called the "pink kisses" design.

Before I put them on I did one coat of Cult Nails Get It On base coat. Then, once I got them on, I added one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat.
My nails strips stayed on for three days!! (see the "after" pictures below)

These pictures were taken after three days of wear. You can tell there was tip wear, but it's not bad at all for three days, in my opinion. I was so happy to see that the nail strips lasted longer when I used base and top coat.

OMG NailStrips are available for sale on their website. They cost $4.29 each and have lots of designs to choose from. While visiting their site, I saw that they offer free shipping for the US and international orders! Nothing beats free shipping!

*These products were sent to me for review by OMG NailStrips. All opinions are my own.

A Not-So-Valentine's Day Mani

I'm doing another post today to show some love for the people out there that don't like Valentine's Day! Maybe you don't have a Valentine, just had a break-up, or are just down about love...this one's for you! :)

What I used:
Milani Fast Fuchsia (2 coats)
Cult Nails Fetish (1 coat) on ring finger
LA Girls Uninhibited (Black glitter, 2 coats)
Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love (2 coats)

To make the heart on my ring finger I took a piece of tape and cut out a heart shape then filled it in with Milani Fast Fuchsia. Once that dried, I used a black nail art pen and did a zig zag down the middle to make it look broken.

I hope you guys like this look! I just wanted to be able to include everyone since I've been posting so many cute, love/heart manis. I wanted to mix it up and do something different!

Valentine's Day Nails--Day 11

How was everyone's Monday?? Mine was ok! You ready to see today's nails?? Here ya go...

How to achieve this look:
-I started by using striping tape to get straight lines for the black tips. The black polish I used was Cult Nails Fetish
-Then I stamped the hearts using Sally Hansen Presto Pink and Bundle Monster plate BM-202. Next, I filled in the hearts with a nail art brush to make them darker and fuller
-Lastly, I added some red heart rhinestones

Valentine's Day Nails--Day 10

I busted out my nail art pens for today's look!

What I used:
Orly Prelude to a Kiss (2 coats)
Sally Hansen Ring-a-Ding! (2 coats)
Sally Hansen Nail art pen in gold

I loved how the gold looked with the peachiness of Prelude to a Kiss!

Valentine's Day Nails--Day 9

Oops! I'm a day late for Day 9 :/ That's ok, I'm sure you guys will forgive me, right??

What I used:
China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes (3 coats)
Milani Rapid Cherry
Bundle Monster plate BM-317
Multi-sized multi-colored round rhinestones from Cult Nails

These nails were hard to photograph! I couldn't get Hang-Ten Toes to come out true to color. It's way more neon in real life.

What I used:

Ok, I know I said yesterday's nails were my favorite so far, but I really love these nails A LOT, too!

How to achieve this look:
-Start with 4 coats of OPI Don't Touch my Tutu! on each nail
-Stamp over middle and ring finger with Wet n Wild Black Creme using Bundle Monster plate BM-311
-Use 1 to 2 coats of Sally Hansen White Veil on index and pinky finger

Valentine's Day Nails--Day 6

I think today's nails are my favorite so far!

What I used:
-Index and middle finger--Cult Nails Evil Queen (2 coats) stamped with Wet N Wild Black Creme using Bundle Monster plate BM-02 & BM-303
-Ring and pinky finger--Cult Nails Fetish (1 coat) then Wet N Wild Behind Closed Doors (2 coats)

Then I wanted to see what it looked like matte. I used one coat of Hard Candy Matte-ly in Love. This manicure looks so awesome when matte!
